Bandits Kill JTF Commander In Zamfara JF London

The commander of the Joint Task Force in Zamfara, has been killed by Bandits.

The JTF commander was shot in the head on Tuesday, January 19, two days after security forces killed thirty bandits terrorising Bungudu Local Government area of the state.

Katsina and Zamfara states are bedeviled by bandits who engage in kidnapping for ransom and other nefarious activities.

Governor Bello Matawalle's stance to continue negotiating with the Bandits in Zamfara state has been strongly condemned as sources allege funds generated by the bandits are used to procure arms and ammunition to perpetuate more heinous crimes.

Last week, bandits kidnapped six children from a family in Kadauri village in Maru local government area of Zamfara state.
