The Oyo State Police Command has disclosed efforts areon top gear to secure the release of two Indians kidnapped by gunmen along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway last Wednesday.

A statement by the PPRO stated: “They were kidnapped along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Wednesday and our men are working assiduously to reunite them with their families,” Police Public Relations Officer in the state."

The two Indians (names not given) were kidnapped while making their way out of the premises of a pharmaceutical firm, close to the Toll Gate along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway around pm.

The duo were reported to have been abducted while driving out of the premises of the pharmaceutical firm

The kidnappers reportedly shot at their vehicle, grounding same immediately as they successfully deflated it's tyres.

The report had also indicated the two foreigners were robbed of their cash and other valuables before they were whisked away to an unknown destination by their abductors.
