Osun government assures UNICEF of it collaboration in health related matters.

The Government of the State of Osun under the leadership of Governor Gboyega Oyetola has pledged continuous collaboration with UNICEF and other development partners including support for the health sector in the State as the well being of the people is paramount to his administration.The state Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi made this known while playing host to the State Committee on Yellow Fever Campaign, led by the Chairman, Osun Primary Health Care Development Board PHCDB, Hon(Pharmacist) Olusola Ogunleke in his officeThe Deputy Governor also seized the occasion to disclose that Governor Oyetola has approved the payment of 28 million naira counterpart fund toHe further ssid the State Government recently procured three incinerators which will soon be commissioned, one of which, according to him, will be stationed in Osogbo and the remaining two will be stationed in Ede and Ejigbo respectively.Meanwhile respontfinv,The PHCDB Chairman, Honourable Olusola Ogunleke, in his address, appreciated Governor Oyetola for his giant strides in the Agency and Health sector of the State generally.Honourable Oyeleke said that Osun Government, in collaboration with their development partner, UNICEF is organising yellow fever vaccination campaign in all the 30 local government areas of the State. The vaccination, according to him, is for people ages between nine months and 44 years.
